SINCHANA SEVA SAMSTHE (SSS) is the parental body which promoted the Sinchana Multipurpose Souharda (SMS) Cooperative Ltd, in 2011 with the intention of extending the social service motifs of SSS in a way to help the economically poor and lower middle class people by providing personal banking services. SSS, though found in 2005, Dr Jayavantha Nayak the then Treasurer of the SSS inducted the entry of present team. On 22nd of Dec 2010 the Annual General Body Meeting was held with the President-ship of M.R.Kamath, Vice President: JP Nayak, Secretary: Nishmitha Pai. And other enthusiastic and Dr B Devadasa Pai being in Govt Service wished to work from outside as an honorary contributor.

It was during nineteen nineties that Dr Pai associated himself with the cooperative activities of Mangalore Teachers Cooperative Society which was founded by some teacher-leaders. And, he also witnessed, how the community Souharda Cooperative started coming up in the locality of Mangalore, one after another, as soon as the Souharda Act came into existence in 1998. From that very period Dr Pai was waiting for an opportunity to go for such an attempt to start a Souharda Coop for the community. His dream incubated for a long period of almost one decade. And it took a shape as soon as Sinchana Seva Samsthe brought a new hope of expanding its activity. SSS soon plunges into action and starts working with full zeal and good team spirit. Consequently, on 21st Dec 2011 in its A.G.M. SSS took a bold decision to start a new Souharda Multi-Purpose Cooperative Institution.
